Walter Caton, 82, passed away on August 3, 2020.  He was born on November 25, 1937 to Connie Irvin Caton and Mary Beth Norris Caton.  Walter is preceded in death by both parents; son Wesley Caton, as well as five brothers and three sisters.  He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Deatrice Caton; daughter Debbie Harris (Geoff); one brother; one sister; grandchildren Samuel Caton and Caleb Caton, as well as several nieces and nephews.  Walter was a member of New Life Fellowship Church.  He loved to farm, always happy while on a tractor.  Visitation for Walter will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Thursday, August 6 from 12:00- 2:00 PM with services starting at 2:00 PM.  Burial at New Harmony Cemetery will follow.  Pastor Jeffery Harpole will be officiating.
