Virginia Rose Russell, 87, passed away October 9, 2023. She was born on April 14, 1936 in Clark Center, IL to William Gilbert and Dorothy (Clouse) Gilbert. Virginia was married to Austin Russell on December 12, 1952. She owned Porcelain Playmates and made each doll by hand.

She is survived by sons Dusty Russell and Todd Russell, daughter Garla Russell, sister Mary Shake, grandchildren Ryan Russell, Dustin Russell, Abigail Russell, and Brandon Shockley; 5 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, both parents, brother William Richard, and sisters Melva, Marge, Kate, Phyllis, and Ann.

A graveside service will take place Friday, October 13, 2023 at 11 am EST at Auburn Cemetery in Clark Center, IL.
