Virginia L. Dildine Myers, 87, of Terre Haute passed away suddenly Thursday February 19, 2015 at 6:30 am in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She spent many years as a Paralegal. Virginia was born April 9, 1927 in Riley, IN to Arthur Dildine and Mae (Russell) Dildine. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Donald W. Myers; a daughter, Jane Long and husband Bob; a son, John Myers and wife Cecelia; grandchildren, Sarah Patterson, Jocelyn Long, Jonathan and Jennifer Myers, Benjamin Myers, Michael Myers, Anna and Tom Wetnight, Lisa and Robert Gonzales, and Laurie and Scott Taylor; great grandchildren, Haley Corthum, Goldine Patterson, Anneliese Patterson, Tom and Christen Jones, Christopher Gonzales, Cierra Gonzales, Brandon Taylor, and Gracie Taylor and great great grandson, Gavin Jones and a brother Mike Goldman. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, and she was the youngest of eight girls, all of which are deceased, Irene Fisher, Nellie boyd, Rachel Boyd, Glen Goldman, Josephine West, Hazel Fern Dildine, and Norma Jean Dildine. She and her husband were long time member of Terre Haute United Methodist Temple. Visitation will be Tuesday February 24, 2015 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm in deBaun Funeral Homes, Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. with funeral services at 3:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Greg Puttmann officiating. As per Virginia's request, cremation will follow with burial at a later date.
