Vera Josephine (Pullum) May, 86, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday August 21, 2013 at 4:55 p.m. in Springhill Village. She was born on May 3, 1927 in Terre Haute, IN to William Pullum and Doris (Henry) Pullum. Vera was an avid seamstress. She was an Assistant Manager at Cloth World. She was a member of Farmersburg United Methodist Church. Vera was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Alva Lawrence May Jr. in 2012; son Michael May in 2011; her parents; brothers Lester Pullum and Loren Pullum; and sister Sylvia Metheny. She is survived by her children Diane Dean, her husband Thom, Tim May, his wife Michelle, Julie May, and her companion Dale Hopkins; sister Stella Foltz; grandchildren Heidi, Meagan, Micah, Joshua, Lace, Mitch, Logan, Chase, Tim, Jada, and Merriah; and several great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday August 24, 2013 at 2:00p.m. in DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive. Pastor Don Ransford will be officiating. Burial will be in Farmersburg West Lawn Cemetery.
