Velda Marie Hall, 83, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday January 7, 2015 at 1:15 am in Westminster Village Heath Center. She had worked for the Vigo County School Corporation. She was born June 25, 1931 in Terre Haute. Velda is survived by a son, Randall Kirby of Terre Haute; a daughter, Rhonda Bays and husband Del of Rosedale; grandchildren, Elizabeth Carlson and husband Jack, Brent Kirby and wife Naomi, and Amanda Kirby; great grandchildren, Samantha Bays, Renae Taylor, Abigail Carlson, Shannon Carlson, Jacob Carlson, Alexcia Kirby, and Lisa Rosa and a sister, Norma Kennedy of Terre Haute. Velda enjoyed gardening and antique dealing. Visitation will be Friday January 9, 2015 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Funeral Homes, Wabash Avenue Chapel, 2425 Wabash Ave. with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Reverend Tim Long officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Tecumseh.
