Troy D. Howard, 48, of Terre Haute passed away suddenly on December 3, 2014 at his residence. He was born on November 23, 1966 in Brazil, IN to John and Deanna (Lee) Howard. He had been employed at Industrial Supply Company. He belonged to the Eagles, Moose, and Master Gardeners' of Vigo County. He enjoyed gardening, loved taking his family on vacation, spending time with his pugs, watching racing and going to NASCAR races, and most of all he loved spending time with his grandson, Matthew East. Troy graduated in 1985 from the first class graduating class of Northview High School and went on to receive his associates degree in accounting from Ivy Tech College. His survivors include his parents of Brazil, his wife, Merrie Lou (Harting) whom he married on July 31, 1998; four sons, Devin Howard and fiancée Katie Walsh of Brazil, Dylan Howard of Brazil, Ryan East and wife Krystal of Terre Haute and Jeremy East and wife Millae of Terre Haute, grandson, Matthew East and several aunts and uncles. He was preeceded in death by a brother Jeffrey Howard. Memorial services will be in DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 5 p.m. with Pastor Curtis Mitchell officiating. Friends may call from 2 p.m. until service time.
