Tressie M. Stutsman, 99 of Terre Haute, passed away at 10:28 AM on Monday, July 22, 2013 in Kindred Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Vigo County on December 4, 1913 to Emery Keegan and Ollie Hazlett Keegan. She was a retired clerk from Osco Drugs. She is survived by 1 brother, Carl Keegan, and 4 sisters, Violet Stewart, Charlotte Pound, Joy Edwards, and Marjorie Long. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur "Clare" Stutsman, whom she married September 22, 1931., as well as 3 brothers, Walter Keegan, Emery Keegan, Jr., and Elvin Keegan, and also by 2 sisters, Louise Jeffers and Ruby Pierce. She was a member of the Prairie Creek Home Extension Club and Pleasant Valley Church. Funeral Services will be held in DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM, with Pastor John Sandifer officiating. Burial will follow in Watson Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled Wednesday from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM in DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
