Tonya Lorene Spade, 55, of Robinson, Illinois passed away Friday, February 25, 2022 at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.  She was born November 16, 1966 in Terre Haute to Larry Hofmann and Jacqulin Stephens Hofmann.  Tonya graduated from Terre Haute North High School in 1985.  She then received a Bachelor's degree in Safety Management from Indiana State University in 1990.  She worked for the Marathon Refinery in Robinson for over 20 years as the Fire Chief and Safety Management Officer.  She was a great cook and loved being around family and friends.  Tonya an animal lover and was known to bring home strays to care for.  She was always helping others that were in need.  She will be missed by many.

Tonya is survived by her parents, Larry and Jacqulin Hofmann, her husband Tony Spade, brother Todd Hofmann (Beth), step-daughter Lauren Douglas, step-son Tony R. Spade (Chasity), grandchildren Taylor Spade, Trevor Spade, and Halle Douglas, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and special friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.  Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Tonya to the Crawford County Humane Society.  Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
