Tom Douglas Crist, 66 of Farmersburg, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in his residence. He was born in Terre Haute on March 26, 1950 to Delbert Crist and Marjorie Reed Crist. Tom was a crew manager for the State Highway Department and served in the Army Reserves. He was a member of the Shelburn American Legion Post # 197 and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Tom is survived by his brother Donald "Mike" Crist (& wife Jan), and his niece Mika Crist Heiney (husband Eric). Also surviving are three aunts: Wanda Raley, Shirley Downing, and Helen Rippy, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 19, 2016 from 4:00 -7:00 PM at DeBaun Springhill Chapel, with military rites provided by the Shelburn American Legion Post immediately following.
