Tina Jean (Moore) Striegel, 35, of Terre Haute passed away in her home with her loving family by her side on June 21, 2014. She was born on February 9, 1979 to Timothy R. Moore and Peggy J. Moore. Tina graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High School in 1997, later on earning her Associates degree from Indiana Business College in medical coding. She married the love of her life Shaun Striegel on July 7, 2001. She was a member of Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Tina loved life. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and spending time with her niece and nephew. She and her mother, Peggy, made quilts for hospice. She will be dearly missed and remembered as a wonderful wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Tina is survived by her husband of almost 14 years Shaun Striegel; mother Peggy Allen; father Tim Moore, his wife Cathy; brother Timmy Wayne Moore; sister Michele Lynn Moore, her fiancé, Joseph Wagner; niece and nephew Taylor Moore and Nathan Striegel; grandmother Beverly Sue Moore; great grandmother Mildred Moore; father-in-law and mother-in-law Reece Ivan Scott and Mary Scott; brother and sister-in-law Dustin and Michele Striegel; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a great big bunch of beloved friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Dane Ray Moore and Floyd and Maxine Feece. A celebration of life will be on Thursday, June 26, 2014 in DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel, 85 E Springhill Drive at 7:00p.m. Family and friends are invited to come and share memories of Tina from 5:00p.m. until service time on Thursday. In honoring Tina's wishes, cremation has been chosen. The family would like to give a great heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Infusion Center of Regional Hospital and Gentiva Hospice for the care they provided Tina during her battle with cancer. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gentiva Hospice, 3401 S 4th St, Terre Haute, IN, US, 47802, in Tina's memory. Envelopes will be at the funeral home.
