Thurza Louise Hollis, 76, of Terre Haute passed away May 12, 2021 at Meadows Manor East.  She was born April 17, 1945 to John and Katurah Hollis.  Thurza was a lifelong resident of Terre Haute.  She was a 1963 Wiley High School graduate.

Thurza worked for Columbia House for many years retiring around 2008.  She loved life and spending time with family and friends.  Thurza loved butterflies, children laughing, and bingo.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, Karen Cheatwood (Tony) of West Lebanon, Indiana, Kevin Hollis of Cambridge, Wisconsin, Benjamin Hollis (Sarah) of Noblesville, Indiana, and Rebekah Mathews (Travis) of Williamsport, Indiana; thirteen great nieces and nephews, helpful cousin Craig Whitlock, many other cousins and beloved friends Cathy Dugger of Amarillo, Texas, Toni Burke-Smith, and Debbie White.

Thurza is preceded in death by her parents, sister Karen Hollis, brother John Hollis, and friend Georgia Whitlock.
