Thomas Steven "Steve" Ford, 75, of Terre Haute, IN, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025, at his home, surrounded by family.

Steve was born on May 5, 1950 in Evansville, IN, to Joe and Jo Ann Crabtree Ford.

Steve grew up on his parents' and grandparents' farm in Poseyville, IN. He was a 1968 graduate of Owensville High School and received his BA in Ministry from Johnson Bible College, Knoxville, TN, in 1976.

Steve was a lifelong follower of Jesus and testifier of His grace. From 1976 to 2017, he held ministries with Christian Churches in Newnan, GA; Berea, KY; Terre Haute (Agape Christian Church) and Brazil, IN (Fairview Christian Church). Steve was also owner/operator of Critter Rid Pest Control from 1996 till his retirement in 2019.

Steve's greatest love and joy in life was his wife, Kathy Lynn, and his four sons and their families. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren and wanted nothing more than to be with them as often as possible.

Steve was a man of many interests and talents. He found joy in beekeeping, fishing, plants, and trees. He expressed his creativity through painting, crafting stained glass, and storytelling. His adventurous spirit led him to flying, raising horses and farm animals, and entrepreneurship. His pursuit of knowledge never stopped; he enjoyed biblical topics and exploring life's mysteries and conspiracies.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Joe Francis Ford. He is survived by wife Kathy Stout Ford; sons: Aaron Ford (Melissa), Lafayette, GA; Caleb Ford (Laura), Panama City Beach, FL; Isaac Ford (Erin), Terre Haute, IN; and Joe Micah Ford (Talisha), Terre Haute, IN; stepsons: Chris English (Christy), St. Louis, MO and Jeremy English, Evansville, IN; mother Jo Ann Ford, sister Vicki (Jim) Harless, niece and nephew Amber and Brandon Harless, all of Anderson, IN . Steve was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Service will begin at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Jim Harless will officiate.Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
