Thomas L. Higginbotham, 93, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday July 3, 2016 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He retired after 32 years with Wabash Fibre Box. Thomas was born April 26, 1923 in Vigo County to Byron Higginbotham and Verda May (Helm) Higginbotham. He is survived by his wife Hallie W. Higginbotham; a daughter, Nancy Treager (John) of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Carrie Treager Huber (Joe) and John Thomas Treager (Amy Farmer); great grandchildren, Nathan Huber and Tallia Huber and several nieces and nephews including Jack Duby, Carolyn Biggs, Barbara Black, and Joe Duby. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters and three brothers. Thomas was a US Navy veteran of WW II and a member of Lawton-Byrum Post #972 VFW. Per his request there are no services, cremation has been chosen. DeBaun Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
