Thomas "Max" Harvey, 66, of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was born on January 20, 1960, in Terre Haute to Carl Harvey and Mildred Stevenson Harvey.  Max attended Terre Haute South High School. He was a man of God and was a member of Body of Christ Church.  Max loved the ocean. Having his toes in the sand and the sun on his face was the best feeling  Traveling by cruise ship was among his favorite things. His travels included Florida, the Caribbean and the Bahamas. He had a long battle with diabetes which eventually affected his vision so many people may remember seeing him riding his bike all over town. Max stayed very active.  He was frugal and loved a good deal. Max enjoyed watching the Colts and the Pacers play.  Most of all being with the family, especially the grandchildren, brought him the most joy.  He will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Max is survived by his children, Amanda Strahla (Matthew) and Eric Harvey (Hannah), grandsons Derek Hudgens, Drake Sartain, and Zayn Harvey; siblings Carl "Jim" Harvey and Marguerite "Peggy" Butt, as well as nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother-in-law Jim Butt.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Roselawn Memorial Park beginning at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to thank Gibson Hospice for the love and care given to Max and his family.
