Thomas Edward Gurchiek, 84, of Brazil, passed away Thursday March 7, 2024 in his residence. He was born July 27, 1939 in Farmersburg, Indiana to Thomas John and Naomi (Shepard) Gurchiek.  Tom was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.   Tom loved to spend time with his family and friends.  He also loved playing cards.  Tom was a member of the Living Christ in Harmony, Indiana.  He retired from IAC with many years of perfect attendance.  Tom was a Jack of all Trades.  Anyone who know Tom knew he would go above and beyond to help anyone.  He will be greatly missed.

Thomas is survived by his daughter, Jessica Gurchiek (Adele Rogers); wife, Agnes (Wheeler) Gurchiek; sisters, Teresa Fuller, Madonna Pope (Harold), Michelle Otte (Larry), and Bonnie Harmon (Larry); brother, Duane Gurchiek (Beverly) and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, step-mother, Vivian Gurchiek and brothers and sisters, Bartholomew Gurchiek, Albert Gurchiek, Earl Losier, Orville Losier, Virginia Whitt, Verna Riker, and Shirley Otte.
