Theron Max McClain, Sr., 74 of Terre Haute, passed away at 6:52 PM on Monday, June 16, 2014 in Union Hospital. He was born in Terre Haute on November 26, 1939 to Leo McClain and Minnie McClain. Mr. McClain is survived by his son, Theron Max McClain, Jr. (& wife April), and two daughters, Donna McClain and Tammy McClain Delph (& husband John). Also surviving are step-children Chuck Johnson (& wife Bobbi), Pauletta Johnson Harris (& husband Tom), Gary Dale Williams (& wife Susan), and Rhonda Williams Bunch (& husband Jeff). Also surviving are his grandchildren; Austin McClain, Jenna McClain, Kylee McClain, John Delph, Robin Delph, Nicole Jaquetti-Requito, Kaitlin Hutcheon, Gary Williams, Jennifer Fletcher, Jeffrey Bunch, and Taylor Bunch, Michael Johnson, Mickey Bland, as well as several step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Leo McClain, sister, Pauline Fox, and a step-daughter, Becky Williams Churchman. Funeral services will be held in DeBaun Springhill chapel on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 7:00 PM, with Rev. Dan Dyer officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday June 19, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in DeBaun Springhill Chapel. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow at a later date.
