Theresa Anne (Luken) McCullough, 76, formerly of Terre Haute, was called home by her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 17, 2022, while surrounded by her loving family.

Born on August 18, 1946, in Terre Haute to Albert W. Luken and Juanita T. (Crowley) Luken, Theresa graduated from Paul C. Shulte High School in 1964 and spent her life as a devoted Christian and child of God. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending as much time with her family as possible, always ensuring that she was present for every important milestone and event no matter the distance. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy and her great-grandson, Lucas, was her best friend. She was a licensed beautician and enjoyed crocheting, often making personalized gifts and special mementos for those she loved. Theresa was a beautiful soul and a strong woman. She fought like a true warrior against cancer many times, defeating it with the love and support of her family.

Theresa's infectious laugh, her sense of humor and her continuous giving and loving nature will be dearly and forever missed by those who knew her best.

Theresa is survived by her daughter Rebecca Ophoff; son Brian Ophoff and wife, Naia; grandchildren Amber (Brooks) Hyland and husband, Kyle; Amanda (Brooks) Oldfather and husband, Brendan; Brandon Ophoff and wife Aislinn; Brooklynn (Ophoff) Steen and husband, Heston; Carly Minger, and Kate Ballinger; great-grandchildren Lucas Hyland, Huxley and Charley Oldfather, Sadie Hyland and Baby Ophoff; siblings Sheryl Smith (Don), Albert "Butch" Luken, Jr., Rita Cottrell, Greg Luken (Jayne), and Karen Shafer; sisters-in-law Terry Luken and Brenda Henley; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Wrigley. She is preceded in death by her parents, uncle Herman "Bud" Luken, sister-in-law Reba Luken and brother-in-law Carl Cottrell.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 21, 2022, at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Service will be on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
