Theresa Louise (Russell) Kuckewich, 85, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday August 30, 2015 at 9:13 pm in Clinton Gardens. She was a homemaker. Theresa was born May 3, 1930 in Sullivan, IN to Garland Russell and Opal (Skinner) Russell. She is survived by a son, Frank Kuckewich and his wife Angie of Terre Haute; a sister, Mary Bogard and her husband Carl of Merom, IN; a brother, Gerald Russell and his wife Gladys of Plainfield, IN; 6 grandchildren, Jason, Faye, Nathan, Nicole, Jonathan, and Brandon; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Frank Kuckewich who died in 1990. Theresa enjoyed playing Bingo and doing needlepoint. Visitation will be Wednesday September 2, 2015 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Funeral Homes, Wabash Avenue Chapel, 2425 Wabash Ave. with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association ( www.alz.org ), envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
