Sylvia Jeanne Topper, 67, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday August 6, 2014 at 6:50 pm in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was an Air Traffic Controller with the FAA for many years. Sylvia was born September 26, 1946 in Hanover, PA to Sterling Topper and Geneieve (Slagle) Topper. She is survived by sister, Sharon Ream and her husband Charles of Mount Joy, PA; nephew, Christopher Toper and his wife Teresa of Lancaster, PA and many cousins and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday August 13, 2014 from 3:00 until 4:00 pm in DeBaun Funeral Home, Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. with a memorial service at 4:00 pm in the funeral home with Reverend Scott Johnson officiating. Per Sylvia's request, cremation is scheduled with a private family burial to be conducted at a later date in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hanover, PA.
