Sue Anderson, (80) of Terre Haute, passed away July 24, 2023. She was born on July 26, 1942 to Richard T. Tryon and Virginia L. (Baker) Tryon. She was married to Donald L. Anderson for 56 years who was her high school sweetheart. She loved being a stay at home Mom. She began working retail when her children were grown. She was passionate about helping to better the lives of children and became a CASA volunteer. She impacted the lives of many children in Vigo County.

Sue was an avid birdwatcher and reader. She also loved crocheting and playing cards. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and going out to lunch with her friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband and both parents

She is survived by her daughter Michele Haverkos (Dave), son Michael M. Anderson, brothers Terrance Tryon and Douglas Tryon; grandchildren, Jessica Anderson, Alisha Fox, Michael Anderson (Emma), Kolton Musgrove (Krista), Brailee Elkins (Jake), Savanna Musgrove, and Peighton Wells; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 12 pm to 2 pm at DeBaun Springhill Chapel. A service will be held at 2 pm following the visitation. Burial will be at Oak Hill. Online condolences can be made at www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
