Steven A. Steward, 58, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday November 6, 2014 at 9:40 am in his residence. He was born November 13, 1955 in Terre Haute to John R. Steward and Pauline (Lampton) Steward. Steven is survived by: daughter, Amber Wellum and husband Robert of Marshall, IL; son, Austin Steward of Indianapolis; parents, John R. and Pauline Steward of Terre Haute; brothers, John A. Steward and wife Patricia of Atlanta and Brian Steward and wife Elizabeth of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Pierce Wellum and Jackson Wellum; aunts, Dora Mae Slavens of Danville, IN and Ramona Lampton of Lima, OH; niece, Sarah Kathryn Steward of Indianapolis and nephew John Andrew Steward of Atlanta, and he had some really good, loving friends. He was a member of Turn 1 Motorsports. Steven loved Indy Car racing, sailing, photography and was a Jimmy Buffett fan. A Memorial Service for family and close friends will be held at Maryland Community Church at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital.
