Stevan P. Bodie, 65, of Terre Haute passed away Friday November 13, 2015 in Kentucky One Hospital in Louisville. He was a computer programmer for Wells Fargo in Charlotte, NC. Stevan was born October 18, 1950 in Newberry, SC to Preston Bodie and Dorothy (Vines) Bodie. He is survived by his wife Linda (Slavens) Bodie, whom he married April 19, 1975; a daughter, Chelsie Johnson and her husband Shawn of West Terre Haute; sons, Brandon Bodie of Myrtle Beach, SC and Thomas Bodie and his wife Barbara of Medina, NY; grandchildren, Kyle, Evan, Destiny, Michael, Tommy, Natashia, Victoria, Theo, Christina, and A.J.; great grandchildren, Noah, Cole, Abbie, Cadi, and Ocee; a brother, Randall Bodie and his wife Diane of Sumter, SC; sisters-in-law, Pearl Ramsey and her husband Bill and Marsha Slavens; a brother-in-law, Ralph Slavens, and several nieces and nephews. Stevan was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was discharged with the rank of 1st Lieutenant. He enjoyed playing golf and Euchre. Visitation will be Thursday November 19, 2015 from 4:00 until 8:00 pm in DeBaun funeral Homes, Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Dr. with funeral services on Friday November 20, 2015 in the funeral home with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating. Burial will be in New Harmony Cemetery with military honors provided by the US Air Force.
