Stella Elizabeth Ennen, 87 of Terre Haute, passed away at 8:52 AM on Monday, October 2, 2017 in Springhill Village Convalescent Center.  She was born in Greenville, IL on November 21, 1929 to Charles Sybert and Mary Allen Sybert.  She is survived by her husband Donald Ennen, whom she married September 9, 1950, as well as two daughters, Donna Jean Schopmeyer, and Darlene Thomas (husband Scott).  Also surviving are two grandchildren, Ryan Thomas and Kelsey Thomas, and a special niece, Sara Loudermilk, as well as several other nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Larry Schopmeyer, a brother, Marion Sybert, and a sister, Helen Atterson.  Stella was a 50 year member of First Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Bernie Jackson officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation is scheduled for Thursday from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, in her memory.
