Stanley E. "Boogie" Boor, Jr., 64 of Terre Haute, died peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 4: 25 PM in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Terre Haute on August 8, 1952 to Stanley E. Boor, Sr. and Vesta Lee Sewell Boor. He was a retired wrecker driver/ mechanic for Midtown Wrecker Service and was former President of the Young Men's Club of West Terre Haute. He is survived by his children Kristina Dunigan (Joseph), Melissa Burk (Neil), Bill Butts (Shelly), and Brian Matherly (Jennifer). Also surviving are 3 brothers: Larry Hayne, Jerry Hayne, and Gary Hayne, as well as 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Jennifer Sue Mefford Boor, his sister, Becky Boor, and his parents. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 1:30 PM, with Rev. Paul Carey officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday from 11:00 AM - 1:30 PM at DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
