Shirley Ann Webster Cusick, 68, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday August 19, 2015 at 5:35 am in her residence. She was born December 10, 1946 in Vigo County to Kelsie Webster and Muriel (Certain) Webster. Shirley is survived by her daughters, LeAnn Cusick and her wife Laura Atkinson of Palm Bay, FL and Deborah McDonald and her husband Todd of Terre Haute; a sister, Mary Funkhouser of Sedona, AZ; brothers, Mack Webster and his wife Thelma of Pekin, IN and Bill Webster and his wife Sharon of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Christina Wyndham and Bradley Trout and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Wilma Black and a brother, Jerry Webster. Shirley was a member of Agape Christian Church, where she taught Vacation Bible School for many years. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Water Gardening Society, she loved crafts and taught ceramics and had her own craft business. She participated in the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts. Shirley was also an advocate for disabled people and was very active in making ISU more accessible for handicapped people. There will be a gathering of friends and family at the Agape Christian Church, 1825 Jessica St., Terre Haute, IN 47802 from 3:00 until 6:00 pm on Friday August 21, 2015 with a Celebration of Life starting at 6:00 pm in the church with Pastor Steve Ford officiating. DeBaun Funeral Homes, Springhill Chapel is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society.
