Shirley A. Brown, 80, lifetime Vigo County resident, passed away on October 7, 2014. She was born on October 3, 1934 to Hollie and Sylvia Gess. Shirley was a homemaker who was dedicated to her family. She was a great cook. She is survived by her husband Max J. Brown, two sons Mike Brown and Mick Brown, her brother Everett Gess, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Max E.
