Shelby Simone Higgins, 83, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday December 14, 2021 in her residence. She was retired from Bemis Company, She was born April 2, 1938 in Terre haute to Autra and Flossie Belle (Clark) Wilson. Shelby is survived by her sons, Corky Higgins, Tim Higgins (Ruth), Autrey Higgins (Stella), and Robbie Joe Higgins; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Vicky Rachael Higgins; brothers, Harold Wilson and Dennis Wilson; a great-grandchild and her companion Wayne Oxendine. Visitation will be Saturday December 18, 2021 from 12:30 pm until 2:30 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 2:30 pm in the funeral homw with her grandson, Will Higgins officiating.
