Sheila R. Nicoson, 80, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday January 11, 2022 in IU Methodist Hospital. Sheila worked at Terre Haute Regional Hospital as a surgery scheduler. She loved and adored all her co-workers. She was born May 15, 1941 in Terre Haute to Noval and Nadine (Eaton) Nicoson. Shelia is survived by her daughter, Bettina Boling (Phil); son, Brent Mitchell (Mary Kay); brother, Jay Nicoson (Laura); grandchildren, Shayne Burnett (Cody) and Mitchel Boling (Kimberly); great-grandchildren, Addyson, Liam, Blake, and Ella; five nieces and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sharon Ferguson. She was very active in the annual Honey Creek High School Alumni Class Reunion. She and her classmates would get together once a year for a weekend getaway. She was a loving mother, G-ma and GiGi. She enjoyed her Friday afternoons with the family all gathering at her house for lunch and the grandkids and great-great nieces and nephews playing. Visitation will be Saturday January 15, 2022 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with a Memorial Service at 3:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Larry Lilly officiating.
