Sharon Gail (Tarrh) Mikutis, 74, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017, in Crown Point. She was born on October 13, 1942 to Jerrold and Martha Tarrh in Terre Haute, Indiana. She graduated from Gerstmeyer Technical High School in 1960. On May 28, 1960, she married Dominic Mikutis in Terre Haute. Sharon was a loving and devoted housewife, mother, grandmother and sister. Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca (Brent) Sherman of Crown Point, and Jerry Mikutis of Chicago; three grandchildren, Zachary Sherman, Sam Barloga and Emily Sherman; sister, Jerry Jeffers of Terre Haute; four brothers, Jerrold (Betty) Tarrh of Indianapolis, William Tarrh, Richard (Debby) Tarrh, and Robert Joseph Tarrh, all of Terre Haute; sister-in-law, Sophia Yankey of Merrillville; niece, Linda (Bobby) Kralek of Cedar Lake; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Dominic Mikutis, parents, sister-in-law Sue Tarrh, and her brother-in-law, Frank Yankey. Visitation will be from 11 a.m until 1 p.m. Tuesday at DeBaun Funeral Home, Springhill Chapel, 85 E. Springhill Drive. Family can visit starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Funeral services for Sharon will follow at 1 p.m. Sharon will be laid to rest at Pogue Cemetery, located near Fairbanks in Sullivan County.
