Sharon A. Hensley, 63, of Terre Haute, passed away at 11:31 PM, on Friday, November 25, 2016. She was born in Terre Haute on December 30, 1952 to E. Nick Peters and Vivian Galdson Peters. Sharon worked as a meter maid and was also a homemaker. She is preceded in death by both parents; her two husbands Mikael Bruce Hensley and James Woody Sappingfield. She is survived by her sons Chad Sappingfield (Tabitha); and Hank Hensley; Her sisters, Sandra Heston; Betty Ellinger (JR); Two brothers, Robert and William Peters; four grandchildren, Alec and Cheyenne Hensley, James and Lola Sappingfield; two great-grandchildren, Bentley Norton and Braislynn Alsup; also her special nephew, Nicholas Peters. Funeral services will be held at DeBaun Springhill chapel, 85 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute Indiana on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery following services. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made at St Judes.
