Sarah O. Royer, 94, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday August 28, 2022 in Majestic Care of Deming Park. She was born May 26, 1928 in Corbin, Kentucky to John Henry and Dora (Fore) Smith. Sarah is survived by her son, Paul Hartzler, Jr. (Kelly); step-daughters, Darla McCammon, Sandra Lanke, and Jo Anne Krotz; grandchildren, J.P.  Hartzler and Emilee Hartzler and several step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 40 years, Paul Hartzler, Sr. and her second husband, Mark Royer. Sarah was a member of Northside Wesleyan Church and she was an avid quilter for many years. Visitation will be Friday September 2, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with graveside services at 1:30 pm at Roselawn Memorial Park with Pastor Eddie Hayes officiating.
