Sarah M. Highsmith, 95 of Sebring, FL and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Fairway Pines in Sebring, FL. She was born September 30, 1918 in Clark County, IL to Ross Irwin and Grace Haslitt Irwin. She was a retired secretary from Mallinckrodt (formerly IMC). She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Highsmith on October 25, 1996. Mrs. Highsmith is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lively, and four grandchildren; Steve Lively, Bruce Lively, Denise Piper, and Elaine Schreiber, as well as 12 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at Hutsonville Cemetery in Hutsonville, IL on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at 3:00 PM (2:00 Central Time), with Rev. Dwight Hatfield officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of DeBaun Funeral Homes and Crematory.
