Sandra "Sandy" Josephine Stadler, 79, of Terre Haute, IN passed away peacefully on August 11, 2023, at Springhill Village. Sandy was born on January 2, 1944 in Terre Haute, to Charles Richard Catte and Edith Irene (Ledermann) Catte. Sandy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt who was adored by her family. She was always kind, funny, and could make anyone feel comfortable in her presence.

Sandy was a 1961 graduate of Gerstmeyer High School. She then went on to Indiana State University where she earned a nursing degree. She spent the majority of her career serving as a caring and dedicated RN at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

Sandy is survived by her grandson; Austin Stadler, her sister; Geraldine Sparpaglione (Robert), her nieces; Carla Wehrmeyer (Mark), and Nancy Gutwein (Justin), her nephew; John Lawson, and seven great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 54 years; Timothy Stadler, her son; James Stadler, and her sister; Debra Deckard.

Visitation for Sandy will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at DeBaun Funeral Homes Springhill Chapel from 4-6:00 PM with services starting at 6:00 PM.  Pastor Larry Branham will officiate. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Springhill Village for the loving care and compassion they provided Sandy in the final stages of her life.
