October 23, 1944 – January 31, 2024
Sandra June Drohr, 79, of Terre Haute passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Cobblestone Crossing. She was born October 23, 1944, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Joseph Sterling and Isabella Wilson Sterling. Sandy served in the United States Navy, where she met and married the love of her life, Donald Drohr, in San Diego in 1964. The couple lived all over the country including St. Louis, Louisville, Minneapolis, and Chalfont before settling in Terre Haute in 1991. After the couple retired, they were blessed to travel. They visited Cancun, Puerto Rico, Alaska, Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Canada as well as many other destinations. Sandy was a beautiful soul. She had a great sense of humor and was always ready with a joke. Her laugh was joyous, and her soul was kind. She will be missed by so many.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
Mass will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, at St. Joseph University Parish at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Church. Friar Cyprian Uline will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
