Samual Albert Garner, 66, passed away January 6, 2025. Sam was born on April 13, 1958 in Terre Haute to Russell Benton Garner and Lou Ella Mae Garner. He was a man of many hats. From a diesel mechanic to a self certified part time seamstress, he could do it all. Sam spent his active days, when not at Lazy L Lake, spending time in the yard or garage blaring rock and roll or some rhythm and blues while rebuilding or repairing some sort of car, boat, or lawnmower.

He is survived by his "girls," his daughters Samantha Garner, Kelsi Garner, and Emili Garner; mother of Kelsi and Emili, Kathi Gemmaka; granddaughters Riley Treash and Emari Carson; siblings Peggy Compton, Chambra Pickens, and Loren Garner; and several special nieces, nephews, and his life long friend group from 12th street. He is preceded in death by his parents. Sam was a loving father, friend, and "Crappaw" who left behind many great memories.
