Ryan Lee Cook, 24, of Terre Haute died as a result of a vehicle/train accident early on October 23, 2013. He was born on September 11, 1989 to Edward L. and Victoria (Nuss) Cook. Ryan was an employee of the Carlisle Correctional Facility. He is survived by his mother Victoria Ridge and her husband Stevie, his father Edward Cook, maternal grandfather Louis Nuss, his daughter Rylee Cook and her mother Ashlee Cook, three sisters Tisha Rickard and her fiancé Michael Kruzan, Crystal Kacher and her husband Andrew, and Chelsea Cook and her boyfriend Stephen Neidermeier. His step-brother and step- sisters Steven, Kourtnee, and Katelynn Ridge; his best friend Travis Branson, and his former mother-in-law Trena Brown-Vinzant; nieces and nephews Matthew and Dawson Rickard, Jocelyn Kacher, and Leah Neidermeier and Koltn Kruzan. He also has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other step-relaton. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with Pastor Mark Grubbs officiating. Visitation will be from 3:30 until service time. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to his daughter, Rylee.
