Ruth C. Yeager, 90, of Terre Haute passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at her home surrounded by family.  She was born September 6, 1932, in New York City.  Ruth loved to travel, especially to Alaska and Switzerland.  Anywhere there were beautiful mountains with snow caps, she would go.  She and her daughter Anne enjoyed going on road trips.  Whether it be to visit her brother in New York state, or just a drive in the car, it was an adventure and a great time.  Her son, Peter, remembers his mother's constant selfless acts and endless support over the years.  When he would come to visit, even if they didn't talk, it was the greatest gift for him just to be with his mother. Most of all, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Her family was her proudest accomplishment and brought her the greatest joy.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at DeBaun Springhill Chapel from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Deacon Peter Sedlmeir officiating.  Ruth will be interred in Long Island.
