Ruth E. Price, 83, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday January 17, 2018 in The Wyndmoor Assisted Living. She was retired from First National Bank. Ruth was born July 29, 1934 in Terre Haute to Asa and Avera (Poynter) Shirley. She is survived by her children, Bill (Donna) Price, Bob (Cathy) Price, Sandy (John) Cannaday, and Sally (Barry) Cowan; grandchildren, Adam (Amber) Cowan, John C. Cannaday, Nikki (Cody) Eslick, Jessica (Jay) Cleveland, Joey Price, KC Cannaday, Carli Cannaday, and Triston Cowan; four great-grandchildren, Cale, Emerson, Noah, and Kyrie; great-great-granddaughter, Miley with one more on the way in February; brother, David (Jeannie) Shirley and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill Price; brothers, Byron Shirley and Robert Shirley and sisters, Mary Hills and Veda Osterman. She was a member of the United Methodist Temple. Visitation will be Saturday January 20, 2018 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 12:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Drane officiating.
