Ruth Rebecca Lemos, 82, of Farmersburg, passed away June 6, 2017 in Cobblestone Crossing.

She was born December 20, 1934 in Gillespie, Illinois to William Hailstone and Edith Scifres Hailstone.

Ruth worked as a retail clerk and worked for CODA prior to retirement. She was heavily involved with AA for 45 years, loved to yard sale, gardening and crossword puzzles.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

She is survived by her son, Randy Dye; her daughters, Catherine Byrley, Cindy Robinson, Susan Dye, Sherri Showalter and Edith "Edie" Dye; eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

In honor of Ruth's wishes, cremation has been chosen. A Celebration of Life will be held for friends and family on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. at Father's Glory Ministries Church, 12565 Pimento Circle Drive, Pimento, Indiana. DeBaun Springhill Chapel, 85 East Springhill Drive, Terre Haute, was entrusted with care and arrangements.
