Ruth E. (Butland) Cox, 96, was born November 11, 1926 and passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023. Ruth passed away peacefully at Hospice Care of the Wabash Valley. She is survived by her son, Gary Cox of Oldenburg, IN, daughters, Paula Dyer (Dennis) and Michele Hill (Bob) of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Brianna Orndorff (Brent) of West Terre Haute, Clayton Page (Brittany) of West Terre Haute, and Shona Eden of Oldenburg, IN; and 9 great-grandchildren. Ruth had a very artistic and crafty/creative side. She loved to walk daily and work puzzles. She resided at the commons of Honey Creek. Thank you to some special staff there that she especially had a "connection" with. A special thank you to Hospice of the Wabash Valley for the exceptional care and comfort she received during her stay at Gibson Family Center for Hospice Care.
