Ruth E. Lash, 88, of Terre Haute, passed away Saturday January 27, 2018 at 2:50 pm in Bethesda Gardens. Ruth was born July 21, 1929 in Washington, IN to Frank Bean and Effie (Jeffers) Bean. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Eversole (John); sons, Glen Lash (Jayne) and Bill Lash (Katy); grandchildren, Jenn Daum (Troy), Justin Lash (Jenny), Andrea Limke (Andrew), Valarie Jacobsen (Michael), Cristina Allen, Evan Saurer, and Kelsey Bohren (Abe); great-grandchildren, Mary Daum, Ruth Daum, Ellie Lash, Clara Lash, Brooke Lash, Julia Lash, Aiden Limke, Audrey Limke, Grace Jacobson, Eli Jacobsen, and Effie Allen; a brother, Leonard Earl Bean (JoAnn) and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, whom she married October 15, 1949, Robert E. Lash, who died February 4, 2010. Ruth was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday January 30, 2018 from 10:00 until 11:30 am in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 11:30 am in the funeral home with Pastor Rick Swan officiating. Burial will be in Van Cleve Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church in her memory.
