Rosetta "Etta" Lucille Howard, 77, of Terre Haute passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026. She was born on January 22, 1949, in Terre Haute to Chester Edwards and Mildred Lucille Davenport Lloyd. Etta enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales, and nature. She loved animals and would care for anything that came up to the house. Most of all spending time with her granddaughters and great grandbabies gave her the most joy. Her family was her greatest treasure. They spent time together camping and made beautiful memories that they will always remember. She will be sadly missed.

Etta is survived by her husband of 50 years, Ray Howard, mother Mildred Lloyd, son Jeffrey A. Howard, granddaughters Hilary Howard and Ashlyn Howard, great-grandchildren Coen Bivens, Kaidec Ighile, and Kensa Ighile, sister Brenda Edwards, brother Curtis Lloyd (Jackie), nephews Lance Lloyd and Logan Lloyd, and her cat Kitty. She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Edwards and stepfather Harold Lloyd.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at New Harmony Cemetery beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Etta may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society. Online condolences may be made to www.debaunfuneralhomes.com.
