Rosalie Virginia Whitlock, 97, of Terre Haute passed away Monday September 25, 2023 in her residence. Rosalie was a homemaker and previously had worked as a Lab Technician at Quaker Maid and she spent many years working at Terre Haute South High School as a ticket taker. She was born June 23, 1926 in Centerpoint, Indiana to Roy and Ruth (Culler) Brill. Rosalie is survived by her daughter, Penny Whitlock; son, David Whitlock (Amy); grandchildren, Amy Hunter (Frank) and Weslie Akers (Nicole); great-grandchildren, Jeffrey McMillan (Megan), Sawyer Hunter (Cassidy), Lucas Akers, Liam Akers, Phoebe Akers, and Seth Akers and great great-grandchildren, Jack McMillan, Eli McMillan, and Oliver McMillan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Whitlock, who died November 22, 1992; daughter, Alisa Borders; sister, Merna Jean Brill, and brother, Forest Brill. Rosalie was a member of Faith Baptist Church and head of the Missionary Ladies for many years. Visitation will be Thursday September 28, 2023 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services starting at 3:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastors Jim Gibson and Grant Utley officiating.
