Ronald Lee Taylor, 84, of Mooresville, NC and formerly of Farmersburg, IN passed away Saturday March 10, 2024 in Farmersburg. He was a retired engineer for Alcan. Ronald was born October 16, 1939 in Sullivan County to Russell and Helen (Lovall) Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Brunner) Taylor; sons, Troy Taylor (Somer) and Doug Taylor; daughter, Dawn Lutz (Luke); brother, Donald Taylor (Mary); sister, Lynn Taylor Robinson; 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; five step-children in North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his first wife, Carolyn (Jeffers) Taylor and his daughter, Natasha Taylor. He was a veteran of the US Army. Ronald was an avid aviation enthusiast, he enjoyed golf, being outdoors, racing, building things for his grandchildren out of wood. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Farmersburg and attended Peninsula Baptist Church in Mooresville, North Carolina. Visitation will be Wednesday March 13, 2024 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 12:00 pm in the funeral home. Private burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers that family suggests that donations may be made to REACH Veteran Services in Terre Haute.
