Ronald J Shields, 53, passed away on August 21, 2019 at Southwood Healthcare Center.  He was born on June 17, 1966 to Joseph E Shields and Marva Shields (Whitkanack).  He is preceded in death by both parents; wife Cynthia and Sister Debra Vaughn.  Ron is survived by his sister Shirley Wright (Richard); Brother-in-law Bruce Vaughn, and his nieces and nephews Bill, Crystal, Jennifer, Brian, and many others.  Ron enjoyed photography, especially taking photos of celebrities at Dollywood. He also liked to collect autographs of Country Western Icons.  Ron was certainly a flirt with the women.  He did some wood working, even making furniture.  Visitation for Ron will be held at DeBaun Springhill Chapel on Friday August 23 from 1:00-3:00 PM with services starting at 3:00. Burial at New Harmony Cemetery will follow.
