Ronald L. Shelton, 71, passed away in Terre Haute Regional Hospital, May 10, 2015. He was born in Clay County, KY on December 26, 1943 to Charles Shelton, Jr., and Mary Hazel (Spence) Shelton. He had retired from the printing industry and was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam era. He enjoyed working in his garden. His survivors are his wife of 31 years, Peggy (Roberts) Shelton; his son Nicholas Landry of Terre Haute; daughters Lisa Odom (Sherman) of Memphis, TN and Wendy Hunter (John) of Terre Haute; two sisters Fay Cormona of Detroit, MI and Marlena Shelton of Virginia Beach, VA, and six grandchildren. Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Thursday in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with Vigo County Veterans Honor Guard giving military rites. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family requests that those who choose make contributions to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
