Rona Louise Burskey, age 66, born on October 19, 1957, died August 3rd, 2024.

Rona was a loving mother, grandmother, wife and friend. At one time in her life, she was an avid crafter with a self-taught knack for sewing (particularly skilled at Halloween costumes for her kids from 1980's-the early 2000's), a lover of shopping who could never refuse a good sale (or a great thrift find), a connoisseur of keeping bellies full (a creator of fine casseroles, indeed), and a gardener with a green thumb and yard full of beauty (and pollinators). She was strong and fought through more in the last decade than most of us will experience in a lifetime.

She is survived by her devoted husband Bob Burskey of 42 years who was her loving and constant caregiver for the last 9 years of her life, daughters Arica Burskey (Tim Jent), Rosemary (Matt) Adkins, Cheyenne Burskey and her son Jake (Ashley) Burskey. Rona also left behind eight grandchildren whom she loved dearly.

Her life will be celebrated with a simple and private burial with her immediate family at Oak Hill Cemetery, as were her wishes.
