Roger Wayne Sallee, 91, of Evansville and formerly of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday January 21, 2015 at 1:47 pm in Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was a retired store manager for MAB Paints. Roger was born November 17, 1923 in Clinton, IL to Logan Sallee and Ruth (Cooper) Sallee. He was survived by his wife of 63 years, Melinda K. (Miller) Sallee, who passed away less the 13 short hours after Roger; a daughter, Christina Sallee of Evansville and a son, Randall Sallee of Terre Haute. He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters. Roger was a US Army veteran and a member of Christ Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Monday January 26, 2015 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in Christ Lutheran Church, 2332 Poplar St. with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the church with Reverend Donna Glazier officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park with military honors provided by the Vigo County Veterans Honor Guard. DeBaun Funeral Home, Springhill Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
