Dr. Rogelio A. Mahor, Sr. 72, of Terre Haute, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Badoc ,Ilocos Norte, Philippines on September 28, 1943 to Bernaldo Mahor and Alvina Afuan Mahor. He is survived by his wife Gloria Ho Mahor, two sons, Rogelio T. Mahor, Jr. (Diana), Rogeno Mahor (Julie), and one daughter, Rona Tiglao (Jonathan). He is also survived by stepchildren; Kevin Ho, Ellery Ho, Jeffrey Ho (Kellie), Warren Ho (Rukshana), and Nikki Johnson (Branden). In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren, Mason, Elena, and Bernard, as well as step-grandchildren; Brady, Sophie, Gavin, Maddox, Raniya, and Zaki. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nena Torrecer Mahor. Rogelio was a graduate of Far Eastern University Medical School in the Philippines, and was an anesthesiologist and practiced in Chicago from 1970-2006 when he moved to Terre Haute. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Margaret Mary Catholic Church on Friday, January 8, 2016 at 7:00 PM, with Father Rick Ginther officiating. Visitation will also be at the Church on Friday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM. On Saturday, January 9, 2016 another Mass will be held at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Clarendon Hills, IL at 11 AM (CT), with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the family for their choice of charity. Arrangements are under the direction of DeBaun Springhill Chapel.
