Obituary

Rogelio Quinzon Andrada, 84, of Terre Haute passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. He was born on November 18, 1941, in La Union, Philippines to Emilio and Concepcion Andrada. Rogelio was a diesel mechanic on a Naval Base in the Philippines during the Vietnam war. He was even required to travel with the ship on its missions though he was not enlisted in the military. Later, he continued his journey as a mechanic in Saudi Arabia for many years. In January of 1963, he married Levy Arellano and they had 63 wonderful years together. After coming to the U.S. in 1990, Rogelio lived in Riverside, California where he worked for Travel America. In the fall of 2006, Rogelio and Levy then relocated to Terre Haute after his retirement. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Rogelio was an avid gardener. He enjoyed watching professional basketball with his grandson J.J., fishing, and watching Filipino movies. His presence will be sadly missed by family and friends.

Rogelio is survived by his beloved wife, Levy Andrada, sister, Natalie Estillore (Andy), children Bernard Andrada (Lina), Carmelyn Andrada, Dhinalyn Faught (Jarvis), and Rogelio “J.R.” Andrada, Jr. (Mayra), grandchildren Arnold Andrada Jr., Arjay Andrada, Archie Andrada, Arcie Andrada, Ariane Andrada, Arlelie Andrada, Ariel Andrada, Jarvis Faught II, Drecko Andrada, KC Andrada, and great grandchildren Althea Andrada, Jay Andrada, Janine Andrada, Joana Andrada, Jamille Andrada, Arnold Andrada III, Jennelyn Andrada, Jared Lucas Andrada, Amani Jasmin Andrada, Archel Jane Andrada, Jianne Andrada, Jade Eloise Andrada, Asher Jefrenz Andrada, Lia Xyzarich Andrada, Aizhen Andrada, and Henry Jai Faught. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Arnold Andrada, grandson Arnel Andrada, and siblings Myrna, Jimmy, and Luz.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at St. Margaret Mary Church from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with Mass beginning at 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow. DeBaun Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
